For the latest Watch&Wonders event, staging in Hong Kong thirteen among the finest watchmakers, Vacheron Constantin assigned the scenographic staging of an exceptional collection of striking watches to ateliergh and the Hong Kong design agency Marc&Chantal.

Taking its inspiration from the universe of polyphonic orchestras, the device led to a symphony of time orchestrated by the finest repeater watches in the world. The soloist of the orchestra is definitely the Contemporary Patrimony with its 1731 ultrathin caliber, latest creation of Vacheron Constantin.

As it usually does, ateliergh staged a living scenography.
Further than bringing to stage, the device brings to life objects that are clearly marked out into space, mixing with a sensorial narration that invades space and extends in time.

The narrative dimension provides a link between space and temporality, between what is inert and what is alive. It is like an acoustic and visual poetry trying to turn tangible what is intangible. Sound turns into an organic and graphic material thanks to the conception of a water source over which watches are floating. The acoustic water waves are synchronised on the ringtones of all watches and projected on the walls, becoming as many time ricochets on an acoustic score.
