To mark Vacheron Constantin’s 270th anniversary, ateliergh, together with Hopscotch Luxe, designs a temporary architectural setting dedicated to the celebration. Situated opposite the Manufacture, it extends the visit into a reception space where guests gather and discover the Maison’s creations.
The Maltese cross inspires the design of the spaces. Taking shape across a monumental wall, it extends into a network of lines that structures the surfaces, incorporates display cases and frames views of the Manufacture. Mirrored facets multiply perspectives, while openings maintain a dialogue with the building where the watchmakers practise their craft each day.
The architecture extends into every detail of the furniture. The curves of the bars and seating echo the geometry of the walls. Like dunes, the islands form an interior landscape of soft contours, punctuating the route and creating places to gather. Kinetic display cases introduce movement into the presentation of the timepieces, inviting visitors to pause and observe them.
Light tones, textured finishes and metallic surfaces create a warm atmosphere, shaped by light. It traces the reliefs, filters through metal mesh curtains and illuminates the pieces on display. Lounge areas invite guests to linger and continue their conversations, with open views towards the Manufacture.
Designed for the duration of the event, this temporary architecture gives spatial expression to Vacheron Constantin’s visual identity. It brings hospitality, exhibition and conviviality together in a setting created especially for this anniversary.
